MELBOURNE — AUSTRALIA

The Reel Good Film Festival is an annual short film festival celebrating emerging Australian filmmakers.

Founded in 2014 by John Roebuck, The ReelGood Film Festival started as a small gathering of friends to celebrate each other’s films. It was a night of laughter, popcorn, and good company. Over its formative years, RGFF grew from this small night of short films to a full-blown day of festivities with DJs and food trucks and a late-night afterparty. Much of the festival's success is attributed to its unique format: snappy 25-minute sessions followed by a 35-minute break giving you a chance to grab a fresh beer, some food and debate the films with friends. Since day one, RGFF’s mission has been to support Australian filmmakers, and each year showcases 20-25 short films from some of the country's most talented and upcoming filmmakers. After a brief hiatus, the festival reached out to me to create a brand package celebrating the relaunch.

I had free rein for this edition whose aim was to translate its fun and positive nature as well as the multi-stage approach. Inspired by the clapperboard, the layout translates every « stage » of the festival. People are invited to move from the projection room through the rooftop for listening music and having drinks.

Big up to Shannyn Higgins for the pictures!

“Anaïs created the brand package for The ReelGood Film Festival, and it rocked! Her work elevated the festival, and it was a talking point among attendees. Anaïs has an impressive portfolio we were thrilled when she agreed to take on our project. I've spent many years working in film, television, and advertising, so I can say with some authority that Anaïs is skilled in her craft, has great attention to detail, and is absolutely professional to deal with.”
