Release The Zebra was commissioned at the very beginning of Kobalt’s journey to refresh their visual identity and create a graphic universe capable of expressing both their technical expertise and their values. The challenge was to translate the world of new technologies into a distinctive visual language, while avoiding cold or purely functional aesthetics. We developed an identity that balances structure and expressiveness, combining precise, contemporary digital references with textured elements to convey care, craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Over the course of our ongoing collaboration, Release The Zebra has supported Kobalt across multiple touchpoints: creating animated scenes for greeting cards, designing visual identities for internal tools developed by the team, and more recently accompanying the studio in a strategic repositioning towards sustainability-focused projects.
